About Family Pharmacy

Family Pharmacy is an independently owned pharmacy that was established in 1959. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent service all of our customers, Family Pharmacy offers a wide range of healthcare services and specializes in specialty medications, compounding, and home infusion.

Terry Spears, RPh

Terry is the son of Jim Spears, who founded the business in 1959. After graduating from Vernon High School, he went on to get his BS Pharm degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and has worked at Family Pharmacy since graduating in 1979.

Adam Beam, PharmD

Adam was born and raised in Vernon, TX and graduated from Vernon High School. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Texas Tech University. He joined the team in 2014.

Carlee Williams, PharmD

Carlee graduated from Clarendon High School in 2018. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2024 where she also met her husband, Brayden.

Pablo Yanez, Pharm.D.

Pablo was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Union High School in 2014. He earned his Doctor of Pharamcy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2023, and joined the team right after graduation.

Brayden Williams, PharmD

Brayden graduated from Vernon High School in 2018 and lived his whole life in Vernon. His Doctor of Pharmacy came from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2024. He joined the team immediately after graduation along with his wife, Carlee.

Pam Caldwell, RPh

Pam is the daughter of two pharmacists from Hamilton, TX. She received her BS Pharm degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and has worked for Family Pharmacy since 1990.

Del Shumate, RPh

Waymon "Del" Shumate was born in Morton, TX and raised in Seymour Texas. After graduating high school, he went on to earn his BS Pharm degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Del joined the team in 2009 as a part-time pharmacist.
